I was salty 🧂back in 2023

 Wow, I didn't realize I was salty back in 2023. https://www.bratabase.com/troubleshoot/dnop5/

Jj isn't the thought police!

I find this to be odd, if a person recommends "Adore Me," their comment is deleted

What is this, the "thought police"?

https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/1q35e28/comment/nxni161/?context=3

Two sock puppet accounts u/galaxystarsmoon and u/EMARSguitarsandARs respond to Adore Me rec.

But if someone finds a bra that works for them from Adore Me, shouldn't that be a praise from ABraThatFits community? It makes no sense!

also interesting how the digital marketers called the Adore Me people "predators." Takes one to know one?

https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/y1cn4z/is_adore_me_app_a_good_place_to_get_bras/

Their bras work for some people, and Freya is such a shit brand now which the digital marketers constantly recommend. People in glass houses throwing stones.

disclaimer:  I wouldn't recommend either brand. Adore me, or Freya. 😂

Ongoing list of sock puppet accounts

There are so many, you will never get them all! This is an ongoing list, some that I started years ago.

Obvious accounts:

Accounts that I picked up on, years ago!

New ones that I discovered after I made this post in Mar 2024:

Finally changing this forum title

I know this is lame; and I've left it up for a year!

Just not sure what to change it to, it was much better before.

I'm just going with simple.

I completely changed it - let me give you a plethora of information (or places to ask ?s)

sock puppet account tries to talk woman out of buying amazing bras that are right for her 😂

Of course, you can't make this stuff up!

Plus, what is with this "we" language. Trying to be persuasive, I surmise! But nobody talks like that - no one on reddit talks like that normally! No one but the digital marketers.

Ofc, then he tries to get her to try one of the sponsored brands instead.

"a finger's worth won't be enough to go down to Comexim" Geez, this man really has an axe to grind against Comexim!

"This bra is really pretty! This is my first time buying a padded bra since finding my "new" size and I'm in love! This bra gives me nice lift and sliiiightly minimizes while giving a nice smooth profile. The bang is comfortably snug on the loosest hook and it's good that I got my true band size because a 36 band would definitely stretch out too fast. I will say that I am into corsetry and latex fashion so I am used to the snugness of the band. The cups are definitely shallower than the plunge but still is a nice look under a scoop neck top."

digital marketers are always quick to defend their brands, too

Notice we give the exact opposite advice, too.

AI post, continued

I know this comment was downvoted, but I think this explains why (or partially explains why) people want me to open up the forum again. Actual real people commented!!! (not just AI chat bots telling people to buy Freya in the smaller sizes, Elomi in the larger. and/or Panache)

"when we interject low quality users or worse agents set on adding malice into our social discourse we lose interest."

another interesting comment on the enshittification post. Ofc it gets downvoted.

Ensh*ttification

New term I learned today!

https://paulkrugman.substack.com/p/the-general-theory-of-enshittification

sure, I know this often applies to technology (Facebook, Twitter/X, etc.), but it is definitely happening with Wacoal (brands their brands like Elomi and Freya, which I would consider to be unwearable)

What you described at around 13:00 is what Cory Doctorow calls “Ens*ttifcation”. Ensh*ttification is when products and services (usually online) decline in quality and value, usually after the company locks in a user base and destroys their competition. Ergo, lower quality services for more money. It’s what happens when monopoly and anti-trust laws are not enforced, or are not there in the first place. Ensh*ttification also affects physical products like cars, phones, laptops and machinery, where once customers buy a company’s product, they engage in anti-consumer tactics like designing things to be unrepairable or break more often. Fashion brands do this as well.

Does ABTF target vulnerable populations? A) they target "invisible women"

 B) probably younger women as well. so, naturally poorer.

People who are not educated about fabric and quality.

People who don't know about digital marketing.

People who don't know computer science/AI.

People who don't understand corporations 😂

Another satisfied customer 😂😂😂

Or not

https://www.reddit.com/r/bigboobproblems/comments/1s9uyt9/suggestions_for_wireless_bra_for_30g/

"please do not recommend me going to the sub "abrathatfits" that place is awful. they do NOT understand sensory issues at all and all just assume if you cant handle wire or the bra hurt or is uncomfortable its because youre wearing the wrong size. ive already tried their awful suggestions of wearing wired bras in my size with their stupid calculator and it doesnt help."

Well, the reason why the bras hurt is because their sponsored brands (currently Wacoal and Panache) are unwearable in my book.

That's so sad. This wasn't the INTENT of the forum when the forum was created. Now there's a flip! Edit: New term I learned, enshittification. The digital marketing campaign is the enshitification of bras.

I need to update this post
